Built for movement, not paperwork

Armored Collective provides chauffeured armored SUV rental across the United States and Mexico, operating B4 to B5 Chevrolet Suburbans and Cadillac Escalade ESVs with vetted security drivers.

Confirmed in minutes, not days

Armored Collective confirms vehicle and security driver availability within fifteen minutes during operating hours, where most armored vehicle providers require 24 to 48 hours to coordinate and verify insurance before anything moves. Send us a route and we confirm availability against a live fleet. Same-day movements are routine.

A driver, not a rental agreement

You are not renting a vehicle to drive yourself. Every booking is a chauffeured armored SUV with a vetted security driver trained in defensive and evasive driving, route assessment, and airport and venue protocols. If you already run executive protection, our security driver works to your team lead. Nothing is signed over to you.

The right level of protection

Armored Collective operates B4 to B5 protection levels, which cover the handgun and intermediate rifle threats that apply to most executive movement, without the weight penalty and acceleration loss of heavier builds. We will tell you when you do not need armor at all.

Armored Suburbans and Escalades. Seven seats. Nothing else.

Armored Collective runs one vehicle platform type deliberately. The armored Chevrolet Suburban and the bulletproof Cadillac Escalade ESV are the most common large SUVs on American and Mexican roads, which means an armored one does not announce itself. Both hold their third row with armor fitted, so a principal, a security driver and a protection detail fit without splitting the party across vehicles. For multi-vehicle movements and motorcades we run matched units so the package looks like one fleet, not three rentals.

Nationwide across the United States and Mexico

Armored Collective positions vehicles and security drivers in the cities where demand is constant and moves them where it is not. If your destination is not listed, ask. Coverage outside the listed cities is arranged with notice.

Three steps

  1. Send the route

Pickup, dropoff, date, time. Nothing else needed to start.

  2. We confirm availability

Armored Collective confirms the vehicle, armor level, security driver and price, usually within fifteen minutes during operating hours.

  3. The driver arrives

You get the vehicle details, plate, and security driver name in advance. Airport transfers include terminal, gate and meeting point confirmed before you land. No surprises at the curb.

Who this is for

Executives and boards traveling into unfamiliar markets. Government officials, diplomatic staff and political figures moving under public schedules, where the route is often known before you arrive. Family offices moving principals and dependents. Production and touring teams working to fixed call times. Legal and compliance teams with a documented duty of care. Private travelers who would rather not think about the drive from the airport.

Most of what we do is secure ground transportation rather than close protection: a bulletproof SUV, a security driver, and a route that was looked at before you got in. If you are already running an executive protection detail, we supply the vehicle and driver and work to your team lead. If you are not, we will tell you honestly whether you need one, and we will tell you when you do not.

For delegations and multi-vehicle movements we coordinate motorcade formation, advance and follow vehicles, and airport transfers across both countries.

B4 or B5. How to choose.

Armor level is not a status ladder. Every level up adds weight, slows the vehicle, and wears the brakes and suspension faster. The correct answer is the lowest level that covers the threat you actually face.

Ballistic components in Armored Collective vehicles are rated to EN 1063 for transparent armor and to VPAM APR for opaque armor. EN 1063 is a component standard, not a vehicle standard: it classifies glazing, not finished cars. The only standard that certifies a complete assembled vehicle, including joints, overlaps and glazing interfaces, is VPAM BRV. Ask any provider which standard and which edition was used, which components were tested, and whether the certificate covers the specific unit or the fleet in general. We will send the certificate for the unit assigned to you.

B4 (EN 1063)

.44 Remington Magnum and lower handgun threats. The common civilian choice where carjacking or an opportunistic approach is the primary concern, and equivalent to what the Mexican market calls Nivel III, which accounts for the large majority of armored vehicles in the country.

B5 (EN 1063)

5.56 x 45mm NATO. Intermediate rifle threats. Note that EN 1063 does not include 7.62 x 39mm in its test series. If AK-pattern rifles are in your threat profile, ask for a VPAM VR6 certificate rather than a B5 rating.

We do not operate B6 or B7. B6 is tested against 7.62 x 51mm NATO and carries a real penalty in weight, acceleration and braking. If your risk assessment calls for that level, tell us and we will say so rather than sell you something that does not meet it.
